A Tradition That Brings Us Together: Our Mid-Year Company Breakfast
Every July, our team gathers for one of our favorite traditions, the High Properties Mid-Year Company Breakfast.
It’s more than just sharing a great meal. It’s an opportunity for everyone, from every department, to come together under one roof, reconnect, celebrate accomplishments, and hear where we’re headed next. Whether you’re in Marketing, Property Management, Facilities, Construction, Commercial, or Land Development, this meeting reminds us that while our roles may look different, we’re all working toward the same goal.
Throughout the breakfast, each department shared updates from the first half of the year, highlighting milestones, successes, and exciting projects on the horizon. It was inspiring to reflect on everything we’ve accomplished together.
This year alone, our Facilities team has completed more than 5,000 work orders, keeping our communities running smoothly and our residents well cared for. Across the company, we’re maintaining an impressive 96% occupancy while continuing to grow, with 625 new apartment homes currently in the construction pipeline.
One of the most exciting announcements of the morning was celebrating the future of our company. Over the past year, four employees became new shareholders in company projects, a reflection of the opportunities for growth and long-term investment that exist within High Properties.
Of course, one of the most meaningful parts of the breakfast is recognizing the people who make our success possible. This year, we celebrated three team members with more than 12 years of service and nine employees who have dedicated more than five years to High Properties. Their commitment, hard work, and passion have helped shape our company into what it is today, and we are incredibly grateful for each of them.
As we look ahead to the second half of the year, there’s plenty to be excited about. From new developments and growing communities to continued improvements across every department, the future is bright.
Most importantly, this annual breakfast serves as a reminder that our greatest strength has always been our people. The collaboration, dedication, and genuine care our team brings every day are what continue to drive High Properties forward.
